Hm, not really worth it tbh IMO. On the bump strips I just use back to black occasionally. If you've seen my car you'd understand :) its got black and silver all over it. It isn't just a random black grill.
That's before the grill being fitted. It's the same as that, just with the sport grill :)
Nah this one had black badges, wasn't you :p and really? Where abouts? I'm
Down there almost every weekend because my girlfriend lives down there. Do you know of 'westmeads road'? She lives down there so thats where I'm Parked down most weekends. Il look out for you :) surprised I havnt seen you...
Not sure tbh mate. It was quite late and I parked like infront of you but side on. I was in the slammed dynamique with the black alloys. You could've have missed me tbh haha
So havnt updated this in a little while. Today saw a whole new upgrade for my car which I've wanted for ages.... A clio sport grill! Met a guy called Nick (Nick172cup) and got myself the grill :) all fitted now and looks massively better IMO. Pictures will follow tomorrow!
Before that though...
Hi all,
So my question is, to spray or not to spray? Obviously I'd be spraying it satin black but I'm unsure if it'll look good or tacky. My car is a sort of black and silver theme though that's why I've considered spraying it instead of leaving it grey. Opinions? Anybody got any pictures...
Thanks bud :) pretty sure I'm going to go for this Sony xplod. My mate has said to me he'd fit it for me so I've got that angle covered :p just need to find one near my area now to go pick it up! Assuming the price is right. With this Sony xplod will I need to buy an amp separately or is it...
Tbh with you buddy, your reply was of great help! I've pretty much decided now that a small sub in the boot will do me fine :) cheap and cheerful! You reccomend these "sony xplod" subs then? im just after something cheap which will give a nice boost to bass. I will keep an eye out for some of...
Well my budget isn't massively high, I'd like to keep spending down to a minimum really. I've recently brought a new head unit which is very good IMO and very bassy :) I like the idea of an under seat sub the most tbh. That way, I can keep my boot space and people won't see the big ugly sub...
Hey peeps
so... i love listening to music. The music i like the most when driving though is pretty bassy. My question is, would it be possible to find some high quality speakers for my car that'll be really bassy? I know most people are going to comment about getting a subwoofer but im not so...
What coillies do you have atm? tbh, i'd still slam it on any set of coillies :P looks > practicality. (unless you're like 50)..! and hm.. my dillema is i dont want my car to be really loud because its only a 1.2, and IMO il look stupid.. But on the flip side i kinda do want it to sound a bit...
Yeah Chris I Love that! :p mines not far off your height I don't think? But anyway back to the original poster; I'm not massively keen on wheels BUT I do believe they could work if it was slammed, which puts me onto the next point :p lower it more! Also how much was your exhaust system out of...
You'll want to be careful running standard shocks mate, I did for about 4 months with 60mm spaxx springs and then they went. Now got a set of coilovers which are much better. And soundssss... Confusing lol. Think your engine layout may be different to mine? Idk. Get a pic and il have a look :)
Sweet cheers mate :) yeah I do agree now. I mean I also think I compared to mine a little and mines very low haha. Looks good that height though! You running 60mm springs and standard shocks? And yeah would like to see this air filter!
Looks very nice that mate! The mushroom filter, how much did it cost you and is the sound anything worthwhile? I have a cone air filter sitting in the spot where the cold air feed was for the standard filter, with a bit of flexi pipe connecting it all up to the engine but it hasnt made much of a...
Yellow seems a bit random though, unless it's to match with something? Idk. A blue one would be cool, would probably suit better then yellow aswell on a silver car?
Cheers :) and one problem with that is I'm most likely going up in my mates Astra vxr with him. Although I am tempted to drive up myself as I'd like to take my car to it. You staying the whole weekend or just one day?
Looking good Sam :P proper jealous of your grill. Will be getting my own one soon! We gotta take the cars for a photo shoot some time. Also, you really need some lowsssss
Funnily enough i am just about to say the same as Spinksy.. i'd definately lower it some more :) wheels look nice, but would suit even more so if there wasnt an arch gap imo! Also i'd go for a sport grill too - something im looking at getting for mine also. My mate recently brought one and its...
Unfortunately i think the previous owner must've reversed into a post or something because although the front and sides come up nice and black, there is still a horrible mark on the back which doesnt shift -.- may just look into buying a new bump strip for the rear. Cant be that expensive. Next...
