I live just down the road from Peter Greens, the other side of the industrial estate. :) That will be the phantom Williams that people seem to keep spotting, but doesnt seem to visit cliosport.
Do you know BluePete? Hes at Bournemouth Uni I believe.
Yep, we certainly do! Hes getting people travelling quite a way to get him to service their cars now.
Yeah join up Darren, its a bargain at twice the price!
Yeah, nice to hear from another local owner. Theres a quite a few of us from the Southampton and Portsmouth areas. Loads more if you go as far as Bournemouth way.
You should come along to the next southern meet (whenever that is?)
Things were very different this evening. I think words have been had, and they are sorting everything out.
ABS problem has been tracked down and being sorted tomorrow (cheers mate (you know who you are!)), and the car is gleaming . They may just restore my faith yet!
Does mean i have...
Well I guess i shouldnt have expected any more from a Renault dealer, but I thought Id found one that was different.
I take the car back to the dealer responsible for not tightening the sump plug causing the above this morning. Got no apology whatsoever, was told I couldnt have a courtesy...
AA guys just left. He found me by following the oil trail :p
Sump plug was the culprit. It was just rolling around in the plastic sump tray.
A bit worrying though that he didnt have a tool to put the sump plug back in:confused:. Had to go to Halfords and get one. Godd job they were open...
No, just got home and was getting stuff out of the car. Noticed a trail behind me on the road. Thought it was just water where id driven through a puddle, but for some reason i touched it and it was greasy. Looked under the car and there was that
The bottom of the car, rear wheels...
I have the Dension DMP3-A which is a separate hard disk unit that runs through the CD changer interface.
I find it great, allows me to fit all my tunes on with ease (80GB disk at the moment) and can use them in the car, on the pc, or through the stereo.
Some pics...
Caught some rallycross on Sky earlier. Loads of clios in it.

This guys site has some good pics on it...
Does it go off when you switch off the ignition and turn it back on again?
Its one of the common faults.
Interesting how loads of people have posted about this problem in the last few weeks. Mine had stopped doing this then all of a sudden after about a year off, its come back. Does it...
Agreed, replaced my fronts with EBC Standard (Blackstuff?) ones from Motorsportworld. They are the same as the K-tec Kevlar pads I believe.
Yet to test them properly, but they seem better than the originals which I thought were pretty good anyway. One advantage is there is much less brake...
Gutted to hear that Andy :(
Was it on site at work? Damn company car drivers have no respect for their cars...
When my previous car was written off by white van man, I was worried it would put my premium up, but as youve found a no fault claim didnt affect it with Direct Line luckily...
A work mate was looking at Land Rover Discoverys the other day on Parkers.
A 2 year old (4.0 V8 Auto) that would have cost £34,490 new would be worth £13,865 part ex value .
More than 20k lost in just 2 years..... Madness.
Bad luck mate, sounds like youve had more than your fair share of problems with that thing.
Id say dump it at your dealers and kick up a fuss, but no sure how much good that would do you.
I would say put the standard bonnet back on and sell the carbon one separatley, but if the standard one would need painting then thats going to wipe out what youd get for it.
Had the same with my 172 when it was a couple of weeks old. Stoped doing it for about a year and has now started doing it regularly again now.
Will be getting it checked at service next month.
Yep, always had this with my 172.
Interestingly it seems to have gone away since I put the RSport ECU in. Presumably this is a little less concerned with emissions and doesnt run so lean when cold?
