An impeccable colour choice yet again Mike :D
Ive never been so jealous in my life.
Andy D: Maybe we should buy one between us on a sort of timeshare basis? ;)
I have a couple of marks that were left by poop that had been only a couple of hours, but they arent that noticable luckily.
A work mate with a Pug 307 took 2 days to get chance to get some poop off and it stripped the laqcuer and cracked the paint leaving the primer showing through...
Very true. I just renewed with Privilege and got no email confirmation. Id heared nothing after 5 days, and convinced myself that I never actually bought it. It got to the day my old insurance expired and still nothing so i rang, and it was confirmed that they were in the process of sending out...
Same here. I used Texaco once and never again. Car ran very rough, and I spent the whole week stalling . Thought it was just me being crap, but it was a completely different car when i filled up again.
Generally use Shell, but never really noticed much difference on the odd time I use...
Hi Mike,
Checked parcel shelf, still does it without that in, so probably is rear shocks.
Cant remember if its only done it since i put the Eibach springs on, pretty sure it was doing that before then though.
Ill have to be brave enough to let someone else drive it down a bumpy road...
Well done on getting the Cup mate,
I get the same thing in my 172, have had it for about 6 months now, but its steadily getting more annoying.
Same place as you, driver side at the rear over bumps. Sounds like ive got a bloody budgie on the back seat...... :@
I thought it was the rear seat...
Slightly better photo:

Looks quite smart in my opinion, not vastly different from the current model, just a bit more modern. Really like the alloys. Shame there isnt a better shot of the rear, wonder if it has twin pea-shooters?
Renaultsport Clio
The three-door performance flagship due in summer 2006 will retain its familiar Renaultsport moniker and the winning formula of lightweight body, tail-happy chassis, honed suspension, a gutsy 2.0 litre naturally aspirated engine and talkative steering. Expect power to climb...

cheers loony, i just hadnt noticed it before.
Makes sense now youve cleared things up, never even concidered that brake discs would need balancing too.
Errrmm.....
Should my brake disc have this large indent in the edge of it?
If yes why?....... If no, should i be worried?

I cant see how they are linked either, however i can claim to have a similar problem which would suggest there may be some reasoning behind their request. I have a hard disk based MP3 player which connects to the standard renault head unit CD changer connector (via a connects2 interface which...
I think the review was good, but it does seem like they have to go out of their way to find faults.
The bit where he slates the carpet, and being able to see screws and bare metal was a bit unfair. Im not saying the carpet is great, but as for the screw and bare metal, that was because he had...
I thought it remembers the volume you last had it set to during a traffic report. Certainly did this in another car, but havent really tried it on the Clio.
Next time you get a traffic announcement come on, adjust the volume to the level you want.
Just booked my 172 in for its 12000 mile service at Linningtons in Portsmouth.
First of all dealer told me that it didnt need one till 18000, until i pointed out what it says in the service manual..... :@
Earliest date for a courtesy car booking was 22nd December, not too bad really i...
Dont put your worn tyres on the rear!
Worn tyres on front = more understeer which may slow your lap times, but provided you dont over do it you will be able to safely drive as fast as the cars level of grip will allow.
Worn tyres on rear = less understeer due to better grip on front, but...
Yep, I had exactly the same happen to me when my 172 was about 3 weeks old. Didnt come back on again after switching off, and has never done so since.
Took it into Renault to get the diagnostics checked and they said nothing was wrong. They said it might just have been some dust in the...
