Wow. Yeah, poor life choices there. I've always just used dental floss and then cleaned it up with tar remover, clay and then machine. Works a treat.

Welcome. All the issues you've mentioned are very common. Keep an eye on eBay for Recaro spares, or not, there are plenty of trimmers that can do that kind of work. Mine are in really decent condition since I've owned the car from new, otherwise I'd probably need them too.

Cups looks great with minimal mods, IMO. Some decent coilovers, big brakes and nice seats is all I'd do.

Welcome. Great cars, the 200. I've had a Ph1, 182, 133 and now the 200, and it's the pick. They still feel old skool enough but not a relic.

Recaros are worth the extra. It's surprising that so many people ordered 200s with few or zero options.
