    Exhaust- Standard vs Stainless???

I'm really happy with the standard exhaust. Sounds perfect for what I need. No drone etc and not too loud

    Price point - Trophy content

Lol. I drive a 172 cup as a daily and it was nowhere near as hardcore as the trophy. Disagree with the seats though. I love them, one of my favourite points

    Price point - Trophy content

It's a drivers car but it's a brutal one! I'm sure the trophy set up (suspension) is much better than the rest but I've driven all the variants and don't really notice much difference

    Price point - Trophy content

They are awesome wee cars but definitely one for a weekend car. I used mine for the commute and it was brutal. I think they're all starting to stay indoors now with prices rising. That one you've linked is just a silly price though. They weren't much off that new?

    sburrell's ph1 172 track project (maybe)

Love those wheels. Needs a different colour though mate!

    Oh dear

It's probably due to the fact these cars are getting so cheap it's a huge amount of money to get the belts done so folk are just risking it. Or if you're the op just very unlucky

    Oh dear

Damn! You must buy absolute pieces of s**t! Only reason I broke down was when I didn't push a hose into the radiator tight enough and it popped off so was really my own fault

White 197 getting the wanker sign in bishopbriggs, Glasgow!

White 197, black wheels, recaros and cup spoiler. Some couple in a seat I believe giving you wanker signs big time! Anyone here?

Where should i put the axle stands ?? Picture inside

Can you tell I know my stuff

    Oh dear

The thing about recovery is that it's needed only on the odd occasion. I would never pay for it. Thankfully I get it through my work. If I didn't have it I'd just phone somewhere or phone someone with a diesel barge to tow me home

    Oh dear

That's shocking mate. I'd be writing in about that. I've only ever had one breakdown and they promised to be there within the hour and they were (wasn't AA mind)

    Oh dear

Gutted for you mate. What makes you think the belt snapped?

Love the colour mate. Seen it on here a few times. If you're tracking it is there any point giving it some paint?

Ticking from engine after belt change?

Haha the guy in swr did actually mention it mate! Pain in the hoop but that's life. As long as it's nothing major I'm happy

Clio 182 Unhealthy running and ticking

Could be the timing that's out? Or injectors maybe?

Clio 182 Unhealthy running and ticking

    Who did the timing belt?

Clio 182 Cambelt Change - the Extra Bits

Better timing improves everything. I've driven 1*2s where the 5k kick felt unnatural ie the car was really poor up until 5k then all of a suddenly it would come alive.

Ticking from engine after belt change?

They said it was noisy injectors which I've no reason to doubt. It's not the tappets/lifters and not the dephaser. Either way the main thing is it's nothing to worry about really. The car performs really well, doesn't stutter and idles well so I'm not concerned. May stick some Redex through the...

    Hexlogic pads?

I've only ever used 2 pads really. Is black not the finishing pad?
  26. Crybert

    Hexlogic pads?

As above. I've been using green and black for a few years now but just wandering if I'm better going for a different combo. Really like the pads but if anyone else has some suggestions I'm open to them

    2500k idle

Is the inlet sat correctly? If it's not sitting right then there's an air leak somewhere
