Problem is the only place i'd go for a custom decat would be prospeed, and thats hell of a trek!
Thanks for the reply :)
Hmmm, so the only reason your decat had to be modded was because of the bore diameter differences?
On my 172 cup I currently have a piper cat-back exhaust, and am considering a decat as my next 'upgrade'.
I have seen a miltek decat from a local supplier for the 172 but it states it only fits miltek systems....
So my question is - will this decat fit 'other' systems? As my piper seems to...
Hell yes! All the time - I have the peak district on my doorstep so it'd be a shame not to use it ;)
In fact might take the cup for a blat on the peaks tomorrow night:cool:
That looks a fair bit higher than my cup did on standard suspension :S
Looks nice either way dude, the 106 looks good too!
Oh and if your wanting an OEM exhaust your gonna be wanting a new rear bumper too....
Cheers - the tints will be gone by next week hopefully!
Aye its not looking too shabby atm :)
Thanks man - I cant take credit for the 4th picture but the rest i took :)
Im also interested if theres a change in tone, as my standard cat is knackered, cba with the hassle of a decat so looking at the k-tec sports cat too...
Cheers - Unsure on the lens, i'll check it out later and let you know.
Cheers dude :)
No - its a piper cat-back system (2.5" bore with a 3" outwardly rolled tailpipe).
Cheers for the C+C
Anthony
Sounds like a matlock mini meet / photo session is on the cards then - Gray, get it sorted:rasp:
I agree regarding SLRs being a big step up, its going to take time to get used to it i guess.
172cup wizard - cheers dude:)
Cheers:)
The tints were on the car when i bought it, i keep meaning to remove them.
Thanks :)
IIRC I used auto focus, and played around with aperture settings etc, those photos were whittled down from the 250 i took:eek:
It does actually - seems a lot lighter in the flesh so to speak:S...
Decided to use the D60 and tripod (in some instances) for the first time last night, they aren't brilliant quaility and some questionable compositions, but i'm pretty pleased with the result :
Comments welcome
Cheers
Anthony
Not too bad actually - taken a few snaps of the cup, with tripod...it's my dads tbh and he's considering swapping it for a D90.....
This has to be one of my favourite images from that thread :
Picked up a D60 yesterday, and after hunting through some photography forums I found a thread with some amazing landscape photographs :

Same here tbh - way too OTT looks wise for me. I'd love a Mk1 Focus RS though :)
Impressed with the way the little 200 under-dog kept up - but then I wouldnt have on of them either...
