Out of interest - why is zymol hardly mentioned on DW? Also for a cup (172), what would you reccomend as a budget summer wax, around £40 price mark? I am using collonite 476s atm but if there is a better wax for depth / clarity then i'll give it a go.

UC : DF is a great game, the storyline and characters seem to really draw you in and make it a 'just 10 more minutes' type of game. Its one of the titles that makes a PS3 a must have imo.

My 172 Cup normally gets high 30s all day long, if driving like a granny it will hit 40 or so - are the 182s (just like the 197s) noticeably thirstier then?

As long as it offers 6th and 7th channels for extra rear surrounds, then usually it will allow bi-amping. As the XTZs are big speakers that can handle a suprising amount of power, its worthwile and it will tighten up the bass a bit.

Don't bother PM'ing them on AVF as they never reply, when I was enquiring about the 26s, I e-mailed them and always got a reply within 24 hours :) Does the 640A offer bi-amping facilities? (i can't remember tbh).

I never added any additional mass to the Atacamas, it's supposed to improve and define bass response and roll off - though from what i've heard the XTZ's have a decent low end response so i'd run without initially IMO (unless they are really unstable). *Edit - i'm considering a granite plinth...

Have you even read the reveiws for the XTZ's?

Would you say theres a better choice of 'summer' wax for blue cars then? (Car in question is a 172 Cup). Im using 476 atm but if theres a better choice......

Whats your budget and will you be listening to music / watching movies / playing games through it most? Also have you budgeted for interconnects - normally reccomneded allocating 5 - 10% of your budget for these.

Do you really feel you need floorstanders? As with your budget they aren't going to be great tbh - if I was to buy floorstanders I wouldnt look at spending under £700 / pair as you will be comprimising on quality and clarity (you will get greater scale but poor SQ). Your budget is much better...

Where are these going to be placed, near a wall? Or will they have plenty of breathing space?

I use Megs Shampoo plus. Good dilution ratio, suds well and well priced, thumbs up from me. I think CG citrus degreasers next for me as a prewash and arch liners though.

Just stay away from i4detailing and CYC and you'll be fine;)
