Since I had a day off and it definitely was in need of a top-up, I partially corrected the paint, applied Amigo and a few applications of Z2.
Only a measly five hour job, which isn't really up to me usual standards. :o
Anyway, I took a few pictures across the road, since I didn't want to get...
Oh totally mate! It's just a shame that it's lost of few features than really sold the 200 for me. Personally, I'd like to see a Cup variant later on with Brembos and a manual 'box. :o
And to be fair, I did say it was going to be a cracking drive. Renaultsport are built on that.
I'm really...
Early 197? Early 225?
Not bad, but hardly class-leading.
My issue with the EDC is how broad they've made it. Renaultsport traditionally makes cars for people with a very particular mindset when choosing a car. They make focussed products and are all the better for it. They never seemed to be...
North of £20k?! Are they on crack?
I suppose that stupid twin-clutch 'box won't pay for itself.
I still want to drive one though... but I have a feeling I'll be glad to get back in the 200.
This month's EVO has a nice piece on the 200. Just sayin' :o
No idea. Lol.
I thought the facelifts were still Capsicum, like the 250 and the pre-facelift 133. Mine was Cap. Dawn?
If it's UR then you've gained an additional 37 dude points.
Good man. Yeah, I think of all the money I could've saved buying a used one, but then it wouldn't be as 'mine' as what I have. YOLO innit. :o
It's hilarious in the wet too, it's got way too much grip to move about in the dry but the ESP gets a break when it's wet. Huge fun.
Yup, they're not a motorway car by any stretch. I was going to do Le Mans in mine if the 200 didn't come in time. :o
I just noticed the little 250-style 'vents' in the rear arches. The pre-facelift didn't have those. Pretty neat.
