You get used to the noise after a while. I've got a backbox on my 1.2, it's pretty loud due to the fact the 2004> 1.2s came with straight through centre sections and the backbox I have is half the height of a standard one. I don't mind it all, love the noise when flooring it. Plenty of time do...
Would be a waste of time getting that repaired, new quarter or nothing IMO. My mate had the same dent in his clio, got a lot of it beaten out but just left the panel rippled to hell, would need near enough the full panel skimmed with cataloy before it would be even close to back to standard...
So a 1.4 with those little mods, no rear seats and no spare wheel keeps up with a car dyno'd at 166 bhp? F*ck it I'm never going to bother buying an RS.
Could well have been painted before you had it then, although I've never come across anything like that before. As said I'd take it along to a bodyshop and see what they think it is.
If you search for edde's guide on here about using the diagnosis thing on the mark 2's there were quite a lot of people who had nearly every fault showing and the car ran fine, so I wouldn't worry about it mate. I have H showing on mine and the car is spot on.
You're quite good at trolling I'll give you that much. Although now I can't tell what part of your posts your trying to be funny and what parts are serious.
And you still let him drive your car? Brave man!
As said, it'll be fine as long as it's not regular, it's well maintained and the engine has been allowed to warm up first.
