It can be done without removing the bumper, just be careful not to snap anything on the bumper and have a bit of patience and you'll get there. They're held on with clips, just start at one side of the grill and push it back towards the engine and they should pop off, reverse to fit the RS Grill.
Believe it or not I know a bloke who fitted a set of R888's to his 996 Turbo S, and drove it to glasgow and back in the wet. How it didn't just go round in circles I'll never know.
It's you who seems to have trouble reading tbh, nobody is talking about buying larger tips or whatever. You could have easily re-mounted your standard exhaust to sit higher up and flush with the edge of the bumper, but you don't seem to understand this and keep going on about big exhaust tips...
The best colour to have an EP3 in IMO. Considering buying an EP2 sport in cosmic gray as an upgrade to my 1.2. Although I have to agree those plates really don't suit it :(
Wouldn't try to make mine look like a 182, not a fan of reps. The irony being your car now looks like a poor attempt at a rep from behind. I don't see where you get the exhaust tips being like bazookas from, standard 182 tips I'd bet are smaller than those on the accord you had.
BUT at the end...
Tbh with you, if he's not even been arsed cleaning it properly for you coming to view it, then what else has he possibly not been arsed doing with the car? I'd steer clear if I were you. However if you really do want to buy it, it shouldn't be too hard to remove with some AutoGlym Interior...
They'll probably get an outside company in e.g RAC Autowindscreens in to take them out, that's what we do if we're ever replacing a roof section and need the windscreen taken out.
Not trying to be offensive, but if you're this worried about taking things apart on your car I reckon you'd be better off leaving it to someone with more know-how.
All I will say is, working in a bodyshop myself, DO NOT cut corners when it comes to bodyshops. The place I work is probably the most expensive independent bodyshop in Stirling, only the main dealerships will charge more, and we have had loads of work in correcting jobs that have been done at...
I don't think it looks that bad, but with the climate control hanging out and a random non-painted bumpstrip it makes me wonder what else could have been done half arsed to the car?
Lol at the stupid dealer thinking it's an exact replica though.
Aye that was me matey, cheers:o
Sounds like Keano's car, only know him cause he was in the year above me at school.
Quite a few RS's poppin up in Stirling now, my mate's no long bought a black 172 with anthracite turinis on it and there's a LOUD flamer going about, the guy boots it everywhere...
That Ibiza you're talking about, not that laddie Keano's is it? 08 plate one with a red CAF. BTW think I passed you again on Friday afternoon when you were in the shell.
