He means the colour gris boreal. Its the bluey/gold/silver you only get in non-rs. I have one, but no decent pics.

If you're keeping it for a fair amount of time, why not wait and save money and do it properly at a bodyshop? If you start using rattle tins on as big an area as the bootlid it WILL look sh*t, there's no 2 ways about it.

If you take that to a bodyshop the whole bonnet will be re-sprayed. Someone else started a thread recently about the same sort of thing happening, somone mentioned a renault paint warranty in there.

If the info you gave is correct i.e year then it's one of a couple of variations of glacier white. One has the code 389 other has 369.

Yes, I work in a bodyshop and to get that colour I'd have to type D75 into the computer:)

A body shop could paint them as close as possible to the original colour. This is a waste of time/money IMO and I'd just get the 4 powdercoated.

Yes it is. The code will be D75, you just chop off the first 2 letters. For example on my car it says NV632, my colour code is 632.

What were you expecting? They'll have to re-paint the full quarter and probably blend the door too depending on the colour. Don't do cheap with bodyshops, just don't do it.
