Im actually slowly letting control go, I let the noc do most things now, I havent got time for the internal stuff, but I still have all the access, but I'd rather not have to worry about it. The noc guys just mess around and work it out, I just close my eyes and hope they don't mess it up too...
i get my own back, i control the storage as i'm the only one who knows SANs, so when they ask for more storage I get them to put a business case to me as to why lol
synced email, not encrypted, person goes on the piss and leaves phone on the train, on the table, person picks it up and can get very important emails, contacts, appointments etc.
also if the user has a vpn set on the phone, etc.
it can be just as bad as leaving a laptop on the train these...
We've just have ms active sync taken off us, not secure enough apparently (which isn't actually correct if you do it properly) but they also didn't want to be hit with having to remote wipe people's devices and then them complain if it was done in error etc.
And as we are going for ISO 27001 (I...
Hmmm, you say an in house San was chosen because of the small size of the business, that doesn't make sense, the whole point of using someone elses is that y don't have to fork out a quarter of a million for a San that will perform synchronous mirroring.
Which I don't understand either, you...
its a bit strange how its not on any more, the US series is still going i think (or at least they have aired more episodes) whereas the uk one finished a while ago and hasn't come back yet.
ah cool, wonder why the mac product is free, the windows product isn't, we sell it at work, and we use it at work. not sure whether i want to slow my machine down though with this, its not like there are many outbreaks on mac, although its only going to get more common as the user base grows.
Love it when a fix for some people's issues f***s it up for other people. Same happened when I updated my xbox and got the red ring of death immediately after, nothing to do with the update apparently, no, nothing to do with it, it's just a coincidence that me and thousands of other people...
Hmmm, since I updated my mbp last week I've being having dodgy wifi, random disconnects and taking a little longer to join the networks etc, and sometimes not running as fast, been solid since I bought it up until the updates updates last week.
this is the one i am looking at, basically the replacement for the d8000, has built in wifi, and is upgradeable, they're actually going to bring out an upgrade each year apparently, so now its a dual core processor (in a f**king tv?) and then next year they'll be bringing out a quad core upgrade...
I have a KDL-40Z5800 which was the top spec one before they went all LED, has 200Hz motion flow and built in freesat, i really can't fault it, blacks are very good on it, and I've had no issues with it, which is the only reason i'm so reluctant to change...
tbh, i rarely watch tv in the dark, i get bad glare with my glasses so i tend to have the lights on, but my sony's black levels are very good and i have no ghosting at all, something my dads LG suffers from and really annoys me when i watch a bluray there on the odd occasion.
i tried the...
Hmmm, im still on the edge with this, as I have said before, my worry is getting clouding which is what you say you have Roy, which I wouldn't expect on a top of the range tv, my Sony is perfect, it's the best 2d quality tv I've seen and I'm nervous to give that up just to get 3d...
Been...
took me ages to find anything that actually made sense and explained things, this is what i used when i transferred mine
