    Looks like the rust has got to it eventually. The metal will be quite porous being self coloured. How old was it?

    Been using the PMS ones for a while no problems and my mates had them in 18 months. Just don't swing off them when checking nuts when hot.

    They're a better design compared to the mk2 dephaser, so you should be ok. But if you can afford to, then no reason why not.

    Very poor image off the web, but you can see where it clips to here. Not where the arrow is pointing to, just to the right.

    They just clip in to a metal ring behind the wheel bearing mate. They may be retained by a screw i can't remember, but it's easy enough. Then just unclip from the behind the arch liner.

    Sounds like it's come out of the rail inside. Might be wrong but i think they are bonded in. It's probably broke the bond somewhere.
