Had this prob when looking for a fiend, was to picky.
Arg, don't check the oil directly after the engines been running! You potentially have to much oil in it now.
As when it's been running oil is splashed all over the inside of the engine, not sitting in the sump, so appears like it has no oil in it.
Random questions, did you check the dipstick after the car had been stood for atleast 10 mins, or directly after engine was running, and by full do you mean to the top of the dipstick? Or so it's full to where you poored in the oil?
Think i'm just inept at doing clips, Replacing clutch cable, hardest bit is undoing the clip on the bulkhead, replacing coolant, hardest bit is the clip on the lower radiator hose, think i spot a recurring theme here.

Same here, saying that did Stowe circuit at Silverstone, same corner everytime arse end would come out, it's never done it anywhere else, even when i try :(
I think the point was using the gearbox to slow down in a simular fashion to using the brakes so hard the ABS is cutting in, not slowly coasting to traffic lights etc.
10000s of threads on it lately, no idea why they are all suddenly failing.
Assumed you knew this, cos otherwise why would you consider changing it out of interest?
I think if BIN is used it's not unreasonable to expect them to pay right aways, pisses me off when people don't. Mainly because they will then moan and expect it to be posted day after they pay.
