Swap the bulbs round, will rule it out. If it still doesn't work its probably the starter or ballast. You can swap these too to rule out what it is.

M7 or M8? Purple tint is a common issue on the M7, sent mine off for repair a couple of weeks ago, may be a similar issue.

You usually press # or a number if you know the extension but it usually tells you which. Try a few and see if it does anything. Failing that google a different contact number which isn't automated.
