Be are usually highly regarded for speeds. I was with them before I moved house and couldn't fault them. If your having problems with lag, could it be if you're using wireless? I found this and had to plug a LAN cable in, solved all my problems.

Best bet is to get some eibachs, about £150 inc del and its a full set. Standard renault spring is about £120.

Can't comment on the mobile repair companies, but if you want a full correction from the body shop I'd say its fair. I'd tell her you want it doing there so you know its right and if she doesn't pay you'll involve the insurers.

Doubt they will even check it. Try it and see.

As said its probably down to the speed / signal? IE has a habit of hanging like that when its struggling to do something. Instead of timing out it just crashes. Try using firefox or similar as a test.
