I’ve had a set of OpenRun headphones for running and commuting for about three years. Brilliant item but they’ve recently developed the dreaded rattle. Presumably a speaker loose. Has anyone had the same and attempted the glue gum fix?
I used the lite version for time and ease + no garage. Easy to use. Almost slap it on. Water behaviour, looks, great. Longevity I’ll wait and see. Suggested 1 year (properly prepped and a Sunday car) so we’ll see.
Agreed, I would love to know what it's based on as it's very misleading. This is for outside at my postcode and yet my mobile show one bar of Vodafone and no 4G or 5G.
I have six mobile lines and one ISP account with Vodafone.
I'm sick of poor reception on the way to work (London/Surrey - 5G if I'm lucky and even then it seems to fail to connect) and Vodafone is no longer the provider of choice in the Lakes for my parents, with EE apparently now being the...
Just done this incl paint. Key point - prep. If the paint doesn’t stick it’ll just come out so make sure you rub down with 2,000 grit, then panel wipe, then paint. Also makes it easier to see the scratch and how much you’ve filled/how level it is.
Really enjoying the results from Synergy Lite. Easy to coat and looks the business. Water behaviour also really good and definitely staying clean longer.
That makes sense. I've got a few machines now including some older rotaries, so not worried about using one. I'll look at costs of the machines and see if I can justify it.
What's the best finishing polish at the moment? Low dust, easy to work etc. My car was washed by the fuckwits who last serviced it, having expressly told them not to, and it looks like a spider on crack had a go over the paintwork.
I bought mine from a window cleaning supplies company online. It's an 11l scuba tank effectively and worked well, reducing us from about 280ppm to 0ppm. However, it needs replenishing approx every 12-15months. We now have a house water filter (Kinetico) with three outside taps - one hard water...
Coming up to four years in my ownership and it's not put a foot wrong. Still thoroughly enjoy it and haven't seen the need to chase more power with a larger engine or FI (but do have a turbo kit from the late great Eann Whalley if I change my mind). My first track day in it a few weeks ago was...
Look up project turdbo on Instagram. A TVR mate of mine and @Cookie is pulling his hair out over vac leaks and other issues having bought a "top condition" 996 turbo.
