this happened with mine as my dad lifted it up instead of sliding it out. Spent about 20min's messing around. We managed by pushing down hard on the dash where the clips are on the airbag and pulling at the same time. I've removed the dash since and pulling it straight there is no problem.

Double check the wireless password is correct. If its wrong it will still connect to the box but nothing works.

Try disconnecting everything else, typically the HD and DVD drives and cables. I've had this happen before. You should get at least one beep with the memory in unless its faulty memory/something else causing the problem, removing everything else helps narrow it down.

Check to see if the internal speaker is connected correctly, do you get any beeps? If not remove the memory and it should beep a few times. If it doesn't make sure nothing is shorting it and remove/disconnect things until you hear something. (switched off beforehand obviously!)

You can get them with claws too.

One of them bendy screw grabber things might work if you can fit it through the hole.

Have to agree with Tom on the n96 build quality. I've never found my battery to be much of a problem, as for a music player I don't bother.

Just tried this today and mines the same, sure it wasn't like that before. I've noticed over the last couple of months my brakes have been s**t, stop the car but no where near as good as before. Probably due new pads as they haven't been done in over a year, but next i'll check brake fluid...

Don't know if they're different, but they're roughly £50 from renault.

I always do this, check loads of companies spend hours doing it (usually whilst at work) and have found quite a big saving between companies.

Re: Insurance. Fookers! Same. They couldn't quote me less than 3k and the guy didn't believe I got a quote off privilege for less than 1k.

+1 you could strip it out at the rear and maybe be .1 second faster, its not going to make a noticeable difference really.

I'm guessing you got the tesco value insurance? I was thinking of getting that but it didn't have windscreen cover.

I don't think its possible with automatic retrieval/push. It has to be set to use one connection as default.

Its probably because the back end is lighter than the front and most of the braking is at the front. Mine does it all the time, you get used to it.

Yes there is an app you can download for it somewhere. The n96 can arrange messages by sender already though.

Might not be the problem, but i'd sort these out before checking anything else. Also check tyre pressures.

Never really had a problem with mine.

My cat had the same problem, and the local garage did this to repair it. Been ok so far 7k later.

I've not been impressed with my bosch tbh. They stick well to the windscreen and worked great, but they have now started smearing after 10months. I don't think its a grease issue either. Might as well get cheapo's for £12 if they're only going to last the same.
