Yep, there is a Fubar guide and ribs dash conversion is very good. Used it to take out my ph1 dash and convert to ph2, very comprehensive.

Ahh it's nothing too bad. Sticky throttle/cable, need to sort the rear brakes as the barings are shot. Might as well put the stub axle spacers on and I need to find someone to helicoil my front spacers.

Glad you've sorted the idle out buddy, looks like good progress on getting the car looking fresh again too! I've now got an idle issue but I think it's throttle cable or body as it's only mild and you can feel through the pedal the cable not retracting like it should

That is a very unusual place for rust to start on these. I'd follow what's been said above and investigate behind that side skirt.

That looks very near on! The front vents look a tad closer than they should be but good job! Couldn't you just have got the wings/fenders bumper and the side skirts imported though? Surely the actual mounting points are the same? Also have you used one piece for the grill and bumper?

Exactly the same, I've put a ph2 boot on my ph1 and apart from some splicing on the loom in the roof to join it all up there is no compatability issues with regards to the lock! Sorry I meant so long as you have the ph2 boot button/lock etc you can do away with the ph1 key barrel as it works...
