My mum has got the exact same car and trim (I think the trim level is the same) level but its a horrible gold colour!
Drives nice though and its the manual version too :)
I've had some federal RSR's on mine since feb and I've probably done well over 5k miles, need to swap front to back soon to even the wear out but other than that they perform really well. Fantastic dry weather performance and good wet performance, nice and progressive. Temp plays a massive part...
I'm still using the ones you recommended to me when you done yours last, they don't flicker and are still good as the day I fitted them. Must be going on 18 months now, maybe longer.
Wired them up differently though. Cut the wires and put bullet plugged on so I could put the rubber bung in the...
Ahh it's nothing too bad. Sticky throttle/cable, need to sort the rear brakes as the barings are shot. Might as well put the stub axle spacers on and I need to find someone to helicoil my front spacers.
Glad you've sorted the idle out buddy, looks like good progress on getting the car looking fresh again too!
I've now got an idle issue but I think it's throttle cable or body as it's only mild and you can feel through the pedal the cable not retracting like it should
There was a guy re producing them on here at one point that was using a 3D printer to make them. I think he also uploaded the 3D renderings in case anyone needed them
Might be worth a search.
That looks very near on! The front vents look a tad closer than they should be but good job!
Couldn't you just have got the wings/fenders bumper and the side skirts imported though? Surely the actual mounting points are the same?
Also have you used one piece for the grill and bumper?
Exactly the same, I've put a ph2 boot on my ph1 and apart from some splicing on the loom in the roof to join it all up there is no compatability issues with regards to the lock!
Sorry I meant so long as you have the ph2 boot button/lock etc you can do away with the ph1 key barrel as it works...
That looks pretty sweet!
How did you manage to get your Ph2 steering surround to fit so perfect? Mine just wont line up no matter how much i push it into place
Just ordered a blank too :)
So today I finally got round to wiring in my ph2 analogue heater panel for my ph1 to ph2 dash conversion.
All seems to work ok.
Also took the opportunity to use the ez chill air con regas we have to refill it.
All went well however it doesn't seem all that cold.
I can hear the aircon...
Thing is with that 197 is that its got the stupid cup spoiler!

197 all day long..
Just to save some pennies and for the better looks. The money you save on the 197 can be put towards the good cosmetic upgrades that the offers without having the ugly front end. Plus the mods you mention above.
Unless the 197 doesn't come in a colour you like I cant see a...
