Will see what i can find first mate. Personal situation has changed a bit so need to go easy on the spending.
They are FK, will grab a picture later, not the same as my old FK ones though. One of my old set rounded the bolt hole and this one has obviously just loosened over time.
So no real update on this really other than had a bit of a spacer fail yesterday morning which turned into an expensive morning.
Somehow, god knows how but my wheel bolts came lose from the wheel to the spacer and ended up causing the wheel to drop off killing the front passenger side wing...
I don't think the ph2 steering cowling will fit properly, its enough of a ball ache to get the ph2 item to fit with a ph2 dash in a ph1
So much so im tempted to go back to ph1 cowling and then paint it black or something.
So mines being a bit of a PITA!
is there extra metal work in the ph1 than the ph2?
Normal size battery but using a k&n filter until the Ramair one turns up. Possibly k&n being too big?
Such a shame to hear that buddy, is a lovely car and apart from the body work in much better condition than mine, actually scrap that even with the body work issues its still better than mine lol.
Should funds allow i'd like to have some stuff from it should you decide to break it. Drop me a PM...
Alloy Pipe turned up today for the Fatty's induction setup, will fit it after work and take some pic's :)
Just going to connect it upto my old K&N that i took of a while back for now until the Ram Air filter turns up.
Was a good meet, great to meet you all and some lovely cars turned up!
Although I didn't have a passenger ride in the turbo I'm now looking to turbo something :)
So not a lot has happened with the car really, other than its been stood outside work for the last 3 weeks waiting for me to get my a*se into gear and replace the rad which decided it didn't want to hold water anymore,
Replaced the expansion tank for a nice new one at the same time. Thanks for...
What paint did you use for you inlet? i've really got to whip mine off at some point and give it a lick on paint on the cam cover and inlet now that the belts have all been done and resealed.
I'd have to disagree with @Dr Jekyll :-P
25mm up front looks fine, nice and wide but not out of the arches :)
Yet to put my 10mm rears on but I think i'll have to do what @DannyR has done
Nice one, didn't even know the grill came apart like that, just always taken if out as one.
Probably end of the month buddy, going to source a rad, been offered one off here from a ph1 being broken or gsf or ecp, really depends on funds, fortunately I can do without the car so no rush on it
How did you manage to get the grill off without removing bumper first? The bumper covers the grill under the lights no?
The one from ecp is good right? Better than a £30 eBay jobby?
Your more than welcome to come help for some beer tokens though ;)
Had a quick search and it seems pretty straight forward
Bumper off, grill off, bonnet catch off, front cross member off, couple of clips on the aircon pipe and some joiners on the pipes on the rad then out
Anything I'm missing? Easy enough to do myself with basic tools or should I take it to...
