Broken down. Lots of lights on, no power to the throttle body

I'd say it could be a few things. Battery really low as the alternator isn't charging Alternator wire has broken off Earth strap from the gearbox to chassis has snapped.

Broken down. Lots of lights on, no power to the throttle body

That sounds fun  What happened, did it just cut out as you were driving?

    Oil in passender footwell

Never really heard of them leaking tbh, so i doubt it's that common

    Oil in passender footwell

Yeah it's behind the dash. It will be a full dash out job unfortunately.

    Oil in passender footwell

If it's coolant then that would point to the heater matrix.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS Ring Lap

    I think it's only a rear cage.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS Ring Lap

Sub 7 minutes is good, but can he do a lap of the city centre on a cold, wet wednesday night in Stoke?

    3/8" impact sockets

Ahh yeah, they're just a round head and a torx bit in the middle. Nightmare, as they are exposed underneath the car so they rust up.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS Ring Lap

It's a high probability that death would occur yes.

    3/8" impact sockets

Has it not got a hex head on the bolt too, that you can get a socket on to it?

    3/8" impact sockets

Lol what were you trying to undo?

    Ceramic protection?

It's not cheap for a proper job mind.
  15. Mr Trailer Man

    Ceramic protection?

Yeah. If done properly it's very good and you can hardly see it. @Irfan had it done on his RS3 and it looked the best i've seen tbh.
  16. Mr Trailer Man

    Ceramic protection?

    Paint Protection Film.
  17. Mr Trailer Man

    Ceramic protection?

Definitely worth doing, but it won't protect from stone chips. You'll need a PPF for that.

    20vKarlos' - Renault Clio 172 - Track Car Project - Possible Disaster

Yeah it'd need to be mounted underneath or drill a hole in the floor to accept the nut when the plate is flipped over and then weld around the plate.

    20vKarlos' - Renault Clio 172 - Track Car Project - Possible Disaster

Looks like he's only using 4 point mate. I prefer 6 point myself as you say the 4 points can ride up a bit.

I've not even been online on it yet, may as well wait.

Track only tyres - R888 or the new AR-1

I've heard a few on car groups say that the AR-1 is better than the R888R in the dry. Can only take that with a pinch of salt though until you try them yourself. I believe the M3 Cup cars used the AR-1 this season too and are quicker. Not sure which tyre they used last season though.

    Gearbox gone!

Considering it's about £200 in labour to fit, £600 isn't bad for a rebuild depending what it needed. Cheaper to get a 2nd hand one though like you say.

Looks mega that Craig! What is that hanging down under the car on the front shot?

    Project CARS 2

It may have a bit more assistance with pad compared to wheel, but it's far from easy i'd say. I know what @Silent_Scone is saying about it looking like it's on rails too. Cars just seem to turn a lot sharper than they do when i use a wheel.
