This! That will do the grand scheme of naff all in a crash. The belts are meant to go over that bar and then down to eyebolt mounts in the floor. It's used to get the belts to an acceptable angle as too much downward angle will crush your spine.

The loop does have a bit of movement naturally for it to locate in the latch on the boot door, so the adjustment screw won't change that. If the boot door doesn't move when you give it a pull whilst it's closed, then I can't see how its bringing the door open warning on.

If you pull up and down on the boot when it’s closed, does it move/rattle? If it does, you need to adjust the latch. The metal loop bit which sits at the bottom when you open the boot. Think it’s a T40 torx bit, loosen it off and it slides up and down. You need to push it down but only a tiny...

You'd get the top figures with an epas/manual rack and air con delete too.

The only 2 people i know of that know how to do the timing of the 197 cams is @bloke and @NorthloopCup Probably a few others around that know as well though.

Cat Cams run standard timing or custom (with the non VVT version). Timing the 197 cams in won't cost anymore than what it would to time them to standard.
