I didn't bother telling them with mine. Just put the reg in and it found the details of the car, if there's any problems renault can confirm the packs were on the car as standard.

Had a similar experience at work with them, was out of warrenty but as it was less than 2 weeks after expiration they sent an engineer out to fix it anyway. We have a couple of hundred at work and not many of them break.

Yes its to raise/lower the seat. think you pull it up. If your sat on the seat it won't go up unless u lift youself up/pull forward. The things too high on the lowest setting anyway!
