Never used Tom tom's own, the pocketgps one is good as it categorises the camera's into what speed/type they are. Also shows locations of mobile vans.
I just pay £2 every few months for an update.
I'd personally go for a seperate tuner direct to the monitor (if its got the right input) then you can use it without the laptop being there. But if your not bothered about that a USB one might be better as you can easily record/pause TV with some of them.
Are you redirecting to a network folder or another location on the local machine? Only thing I can think is that its trying to redirect before the new location is mapped/connected.
I've sometimes found my camera slider open but its never on the camera or I've never found any pictures taken by mistake. I think it might be on a timer to turn off automatically or something.
My old company uses a place called lasertech based in the NW. They give u a cardboard box to fill up then arrange collection when its full.

I'm with sky and the settings on the router aren't too restrictive. You can change everything bar connection to the ISP details. If you're that desperate to change all the settings there is a way to obtain the username and password for your connection, then you can use your own router.
You need an XP cd, set your computer to boot off the CD and it will load setup. You can then either format and start again or try to repair your existing installation.
Lol u always said u were scared on CS meets cos they were too fast and that was in a 1.2. I don't like driving fast with u in it doesn't feel right lol. Ah well, better get back to work I suppose.

I'm with sky and have occasional drop outs but thats due to my poor quality phone line. When its working its usually quick + cheap for what you get. Although my housemate phoned me this morning and the service is down in my area. I'd personally go for cable over ADSL as its usually more...
They're usually impossible to clip back on as the clips break. Sometimes it can be glued on but u have to be careful where u glue it or the key will be stuck down all the time. Probably either have to put up with it or new keyboard time (unless its under warranty of course)
Just put ubuntu on an inspiron 2650 (quite old) and everything worked straight away. Only thing was this laptop has a high res panel so I had to up the resolution manually in the config.
Only problem I've got now is getting the b*****d wireless working as it doesn't have one built in, and...
