Nice one cheers, i'll get at it this weekend. Although i do think it could be that as sometimes when setting off 'incorrectly' i can hear a little rattling and with the exhaust is hanging low. I'll check out if they're easy enough to change myself too, save me some money ! :)

Must be something corrupt in the backup file that's caused it to do the same on the other phone. I probably think the only way to sort it out would be to not restore from a backup. Not ideal though!

I wouldn't bother, you're not going to lose any apps or anything just the lay out. Probably if you sync and do that and restore it could remove the icon again.

If you go to Settings > General > Reset and select 'Reset Home Screen Layout' you should get it back(it did for me when i lost itunes icon.. however i could still find it when i searched). It may remove all your folders and mess all the icons back up but nothing a 2minute job can sort out to put...

I believe that the top mounts have to come off when changing the suspension anyway so for the little cost they are would it be worth changing them anyway? I have been looking on eurocar parts and ebay and seem to find different types such as ones with the bearing and without.

Just found this picture from another thread. The rubber part to the right of the red arrow is what i imagine has worn away and is knocking against the metal work? Is that a part that would stay on if i was to replace the shocks/springs with coilovers as that is my next plan.

Seen as the cheapest you can get is £2200 for just you, why dont you go with admiral and tell your dad to find the cheapest quote for him somewhere and you pay whatever on top of that for him to go with admiral, making yours higher than £1250 but no where near £2k
