Still cant get my head around this. How is it that 1 product is for making trim more black and the other is for a layer of last wax like protection?? Marketed differently but theyre the same product I can get my head around but I just dont get how its such a versatile liquid?
Where are you finding these gems from? All the ones I have found are silly money for the spec or are total lease spec povo. £13k for that spec, from what ive been able to find, is amazing value.
Anyone used CarPro Elixr. It's a tar and fallout remover in one. Used 2/3 of a bottle on my dads car today and was quite disappointed by the results. So much tar that wasnt even touched. Anyone got any experience with it?
I really rate the AG snowfoam. Great smell. Seems to do a really good job of loosening. Cant comment too much in cleaning power as I've never tested that specifically (and my car is never really that filthy)
That's odd that its come with shorter bolts. The kit I ordered from RPD came with the same sized ones I had taken off. Initially I thought the same as you because the gasket was so stuck out. But once bolted down it was fine!
Welcome to the club! You are gonna love your new purchase as we all love ours.
To answer your questions:
The abs light and ESP light are very very very common on these. Do some googling and you'll find it might be a new abs sensor. Split abs ring or something else entirely. My previous one...
I agree entirely. Both points are very valid. On one side, the club mentality is brilliant as we all, within reason, we look out for each other and help one another. Its awesome.
On the other side, money makes the world go round. Everyone likes making a bit of cash but nobody wants to feel like...
I have quite a plethora of stuff to be honest as i bought my DA as a job lot from a friend. He went and bought a rupes and wanted all their compounds with it.
The spray bit looks like someone has gone at it with some spray paint of a similar colour. Very odd thing to do. Why on earth would you...
Its had fallout remover on it twice from memory. I dont believe I have clayed this section yet but thats due as soon as i can. Ill give that a shot. The car is also going to get a full machine over the winter so ill pay attention to that spot. Ill be using maguiars ultimate polish...that should...
Yeah it does look really bad in this picture. Its spot on in person....well as good as they usually are. Its because 1 panel is metal and 1 (the wing) are plastic. I always thought it was a badly painted door but having now been on my 2nd silver 182, I can confirm theyre like that lol
Hi all,
As you can see in the images i have a weird patch of paintwork thats on the passenger door. There is a long key scratch on there and so part of me thought it might be the old WD40 trick when I collected the car. However, after a few months and weekly (sometimes twice weekly) washing...
As above. This happened to mine just a couple of weeks ago. Most likely to be the alternator based on what you've described. Take your battery off, give it a full charge and re fit it. Once it's back in, use a multimeter to test if the voltage of the battery increases when the cars running. It's...
No tensioner or belt change as they were both done only 3 months ago luckily.
Not certain but I specified a genuine part so it should be. I'll check the invoice. It's a garage I use all the time for business vehicles too so they're trustworthy
