the car hasnt felt right when putting my foot down just lately. i thought dephaser as soon as the noise come but he said it doesnt sound like the dephaser

but if its a common problem then surely it would be more of a risk leaving it knowing the car has done 91k without having one and could go within a few miles later.

why wouldnt you replace the dephaser while it was stripped down?:S

he doesnt know till he stripped it down but i was going to get the cambelt and waterpump done soon anyway. its a loud grinding and sqeeking. i had it a few months back but it went after a day.

the noise is there constantly mate. the car is on 91k now so thinking get it done while doing it all.

took the car to renault specialist earlier and he had the stephiscope(cant spell) out and said the noise coming from the engine was the water pump so i told him i want a cam belt kit, aux belt kit, water pump, dephaser pulley, antifreeze, oil and filter all filled. rang back just and he give me...

yeah but it wont really stick. best to use windscreen sealer or tiger seal. just drive into autowindscreens and ask them but a bit on for you.

once on the jig, cut off the rear panel as it will need a new one anyways then they clamp the puller on it and as it pulls out tap it in shape with a panel hammer. spot weld on the the new rear pane, fill it, smooth it and paint it job done. we do loads at work.

they are quite bright. i had the 501's with six leds instead of 4.

Fitted some rear interior lights in the 172 yesterday, look quite good. Wired them up to the front interior light so that they work the same, also did the all round led bulbs upgrade including boot light,all interior lights, glovebox and rear number plate.

i had this so i found out it was coming from the top dash abovt the clocks so i wedged i 5p coin right in so it couldnt be seen. rattle gone:cool:

thinking about wiring some courtesy lights in the footwell like the newer cars so that they come on with the interior lights! whats everyone think?

they look like these mate. you can tell the difference by the projector and chrome ring in the headlight

how do i find this out? mine has no cobra alarm on?
