i painted the edges of the cap before i paint allt the wheel with the cap on and laquered when still on. i did spray a promoter(adhesive) on before i painted them though.

this happened on my wheels and always happens mate. even when painting panels. different makes of laquer differ in outcome.

might just want a good service or a good thrash down a lane to clear it out.
