    Flunkey's

Highly likely to scratch like a chamois. I can't see a difference between the vileda cloth and a basic chamois, apart from the marketing?

    best wax to use

Worth using a few more then chap ;) (light hearted jibe, but I'm right).

    Metal Polish

I don't, but as description to help you understand - Autosol left some hard to remove grime and carbon deposits. Mercury removed these, but had to use 00 Grade wire wool with both. Testing on my own car (two pipes) Mercury removes the grime in less "passes" with a MF than it takes Autosol...

    Metal Polish

Side by side comparison, across four exhausts (one car) I found Mercury to be the best as it appears to have more bite, chemically. As with most detailing products, it's down to user preference and experience, but that's my two penny's worth.

AF Hide - Leather Cleaner and Leather Conditioner

The cleaners do work as they are a gentle APC, which will remove the grime if worked properly (I.e with water, not just neat). But as has been said, the conditioners are not worth the money on most car seats.

    Collinite 845 anygood?

845 is the insulator wax. So is a good winter wax. Much better than 476 looks and application wise, but lasts just as long with layers. Other options with similar durability are fk1000p. Depends on budget and what you're after (looks, longevity, ease of application).

Help me prove an old man wrong!

A; it's ph neutral. B; septic tanks are for house hold waste... We have one and its full of waste from the toilet. Surely your outside drains go to either mains drainage/sewerage or a soak away? The acid rain that falls in this country is likely to do more harm than your snow foam.

Best product for restoring exhaust tips?

Mercury is outstanding and that's coming from the least likely person to back a forum sponsor FYI. It has a better chemical cleaning action that Autosol when compared a few months back on heavily carbon'd exhausts.

Best way to prepare tyre walls for tyre shine...?

Wheels and tyres first. Degreaser as has been said. Then bone dry for best results.

    Drying.

Glad we got that sexual tension out in the open... We do the same in the UK. But we also have common sense, something clearly lacking over your way.

Drying towels, high absorbency, high quality?

Non bio in the machine is fine, Lee. Just don't machine dry them - leave them to air dry, otherwise you'll reverse the static charge, rendering them useless.

Pressure Washers - What's the Best Current Model?

As has already been mentioned, the Nilfisk. Reason being Karcher have plastic impellers, Nilfisk have metal impellers, so are less likely to break.

Very well mate thanks, yeah moved to London about 20 months ago, still loving it down here, although looking forward to driving back up North for Xmas tonight! Aye, still got the S3. Hello mate! So no random Audi meetings in the middle of town any more?! Although I'm in London these days so unlikely. What did you do with the Audi in the end, or is it in the breakers yard in the sky?

Detailer in or near Nottingham needed.

Talk to Jim White @ White Details, John. He'll answer everything and he is also one of a very small handful I'd take my own car to. No idea on costs, but factor in two days. Yes, Jim does collection and drop off for a charge. Another update meaning top ups? If so, with the coatings you've...

Actually I think he's Spanish, Scrooge. The upside down question and exclamation marks would suggest so, anyway. Either that, or his grammar is as upside down as his views/attitude. Edit; yep: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?671414-Hi-from-Spain Where apparently they need four...
