Not used either, but they're both very good from what i've seen/heard and you won't go far wrong with either.
Go with the cheapest and spend the saving on fuel and other bits.
If you find a decent Clio, you shouldn't have many problems with it.
I've had mine for 3 years and have done a dozen track days and 3 trips to Le Mans and it's still fine.
