It's a chemical cleaner, no? So technically you could do it before and after polishing and it'd have an effect.

    The opaque range from swissvax.

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

KArchers break their plastic impellers in the pumps. Nilfisks have metal impellers. Case closed. Have a look in the pressure washer thread, some good deals (£60 iirc).

Of the detailing. Not of the slapping.

    Day off tomorrow

You're asking in a detailing forum if something is overkill? Think about what you've just said. Then slap yourself. Then post up the results!

    Summer Wax.

Red moose glaze with Vic's on my panzer looked superb, Chris. Easy to use wax, but doesn't touch carbon or glasur.

Bringing out the blue in Iceberg Silver?

Decent prep followed by a sealant (brings out the flake pop of metallics, the blue you're seeing). Try Werkstat Acryllic Jett.

I'm glad. But I'm betting paint shops are also rubbing their hands together.

Halfords now sell Megs G220 Polisher

Yes, it was. Awaits legal cases about not providing enough awareness of paint burn through.

    Cleaning AP Calipers?

You definitely need to start one thread with lots of questions. APC like G101 and a brush selection.

Professional detailing in the South East...?

What do you think it should cost? Or put another way, what's your budget. That'll help me with my answer of KDS or AutoFinesse. Both exceptional, but slightly different costs.

Who on here details as a business?

Jim White is the only full time detailer and member. There are others that are either part time detailers who do it properly, or part time members. Think auto finesse's James is on here?

    Machine Polish

Good good. If you were talking wool, IP3.02 or 3MFCP then I'd be worried/call it hard ;) Always was one of my favourite colours, the Trophy red (Capsicum?).

    What have you ordered? *Detailing*

Agreed. I still have seven from the past years, all demoted to wheels and arches of course.

    Machine Polish

Trophy paint is, to use a CS phrase, defiantly medium. Honda paint is soft. To get it out of the way, I'm not "dissing" your abilities, but what polish, pad and machine combo are you using?

    Machine Polish

A lot more. Where do you think my nickname "forearms" came from?
