No need for protection purposes, but it may add to the looks. Gally C1s then Glasurs over the top.

Thanks all, so far. GoPro, too expensive and not good enough quality. The debate/key point here is size. Yes, my 4S is a decent camera, but nothing like as good as the ones mentioned in the OP. GoPro the same. They may be useful for track days but that's not what I'm interested in (but can...

    G-Techniq Products

C1, C4 and C5 are the same product. It depends on how much you think you'll need. Will you do all the wheels, plastics and paint? If so, 50ml bottle of C1 at a maximum will do that lot, I would think.

    Rainx - its brilliant

My C4 is still beading on my plastics. And my arches. That's circa a year for the arches and longer on the rear bumper insert. Chem Guys New Look trim gel doesn't bead as well from the start and lasts about a month...

    Rainx - its brilliant

It's ever so simple with GTechniq. Spend £100 or so once, your car is sealed for years to come, externally and internally. Also, it gets addictive. I mean, who in their right mind would order the I1 fabric guard for their umbrella, just so they can see the water beading off it?

Pocket point and shoot - suggestions/opinions etc?

Hi gang, The OH is looking for a point and shoot. She has a couple of DSLRs so it's not to replace those, but does mean she's good at photography/knows a good shot. So far, in the runnings, we've looked at the FinePix 770EXR, Panasonic Lumix TZ20 and the Canon power shot S220. Reviews have...

Precisely. Bigger filter and TIP means more airflow so higher fuel consumption or so is my understanding.

It is mate, by AMD Essex. Unfortunately I moved to London a year or so ago, but more than happy to drop you a line if it ever gets driven back up north. The remap makes a world of difference and the B5 TIP makes it louder and pull more freely through the rev range. Well worth it. But say...

    Roof scratches/marks/lines

Wash it gently with a mitt, IronX, wash, Tardis, Wash, leave the car wet and clay it.

Tree sap, mixed with saharan sand and hard water. Basically it's not had any protection for some time.

    Roof scratches/marks/lines

Does the paint feel rough, like very fine sand paper?
  21. J

    Roof scratches/marks/lines

Looks like the Saharan sand we've had recently. You'll need to decontaminate with iron x, Tardis and clay. The polish. The scratches look jolly deep so I'd take it to a pro.

    Rainx - its brilliant

RainX is great on the side windows, but as it's not wiper proof, G1/5 is the best bet.

    cheap clay bar? where from

Lol at "born sloppy" above! To answer the OP's question, the Meg's Smooth Surface Clay kit is sold in Halfrauds. I prefer the Bilt Hamber clay to the zaino. I also prefer Meg's no:16 to born slippy. You can even use water with shampoo as long as its slick...

    Rainx - its brilliant

Should do, but a decent G101 soak followed by clay followed by G4 will ensure a good surface to bond to.
