Don't point the flash directly at the subject either, as you'll get some nasty shadows appearing behind them.
Have a play around with it like Aaron says, to get used to it.

Don't like the wheels though, they need spacing too especially on the rear.
That MY08 front end looks so dated compared to the newer shapes.

Ahh right, well i don't know too much about house electrics but it has an RCD setting.
RCD being Residual-Current Device and Amps is a current, so i'd go with that.
Not sure what the symbols are on the RCD mode, but the bottom one... RCD auto test might work.
Ahh cool, set to DC and the 10mA. It should give a reading of some sort the way i mentioned before, as long as you have the probes the right way round lol
Set your meter to amps, remove the negative cable on the battery.
Now put the probes of the meter to finish the circuit. So, one on the battery terminal and the other on the negative cable.
Haha, not just me then... I was missing washers, the two 10mm steel plates for the u-bolts and all the nuts.
