Nah, it's really only little pit bikes / scooters that go missing. If there's a big group of you though it'll be fine, a few chain locks round something solid will be fine.
Had a quick look at my mates N5 running Lollipop lastnight that he'd manually installed.
Looks decent, albeit he's using a different kernel version that lets you change the screen res to fit more icons on. (think he said it was Franco)

If you're using it where it doesn't need to be waterproof or protected. You can the 'The Frame' GoPro mount, which saves you drilling the case.
It already has holes cut out.
Edit: It actually comes with a protective lens cover actually.
