Thanks for sharing. What are the 'default track spring rates' or are you referring to, is it what Kam Racing quote on their website as... "Standard BC Racing kit for Renault Clio comes with a 4kg/mm front spring (224lb/in) and 8kg rear spring"...?
Another product I've been hearing about....

I use the older Pagid rs422's (blues) on standard calipers, not cheap but I've found they're great from cold for sprint competitions. They can also certainly handle 20min stints on brands hatch indy circuit all day long. On a cup without abs it takes a little more...
It's one of the common upgrades on the Clio, couldn't say what the difference is like on its own, but along with a suspension refresh, cooksport springs and fully polybushed (black series) car when I rebuilt it, it totally tightens up the front end.
Yep, they looked like they do...
"...Like the AST suspension and KAM Racing adjustable top mounts, these Renault Clio solid top mounts have an offset pillow ball mount which can be rotated to adjust camber and caster angle..."
...though doubt it works with PMS front brace without some...
Glad I came across this thread, ready to pull the trigger on buying some of these for a 172 cup, interested in the performance on track with those spring rates on the DRs.
Does anyone know if these are compatible with the PMS front strut and solid mounts? I'm I right to assume the mounts...
@Niall @JB21 did you pull the trigger on the BC's? Getting close to it myself now but considering spring rates for a track/sprint/hillclimb only setup. Good to read your view on your setup @DCELEC 182 , l'll have a similar setup with the diff following at a later date. I assume the BCs are...
Yep, I managed to buy a 172 cup with the wrong sub frame and front ARB on it. Thankfully now sorted. Amazing what some careless people will do to their cars.
Same here, surprised to hear (earlier in the thread) the Avo's not rated as high as the Ast's by @pure-motorsport , wonder what they run on their hillclimb clio?
Has anyone had any experience with this gauge, if so, good or bad....?

Great read, keep thinking I need to do a thread myself but lack of time at the moment. Out of interest, how did you make those headlight blanks, they look good?
Keep up the good work, as I've always said to friends, I enjoy the building/tweaking (and hence learning the car) just as much as...
I agree they are very light, plus I just strapped the back part down on to the base as to miss the cage and save hacking it up. I also run in production series in the SE...for now at least.
Great read!
Congratulations to yourself and your missus, great news and it certainly is a real +ve life changer that's for sure.
I had the same conversion with my missus about bikes when my littl'uns came and it to ended in the same outcome, although you've managed to bag yourself a much more exciting...
