I've heard too many horror stories about it though. Either way, it's still 5mm less of the bolt in the hub. Best to be safe, than sorry IMO.
I did run 5mm spacers on my 1.2 without longer bolts, but in the back of my mind, I was always worrying about any potential accidents.
Dmallett, that's wicked. Really appreciate the comparisons. I think 15mm looks too much for the rear. It may be a case of going with 20mm front (as I think that for how low mine is, 25mm may be slightly too much) and 5mm rear.
Ive just had a quick measure and my crappy style got it as there's...
Do you get rubbing at all Danny?
What's the deal with 5mm spacers? Do you need to get some shorter bolts or anything?
Or even with that in mind, would I pull off just having 20mm spacers on the front and leave the rears as is?
That's very helpful matey. Do the front wheels stick out much further than the rears (what with there being a 20mm difference with spacer size)?!
reason I ask is because I'm OCD and want everything to be in line ;)
That gives me a very good idea of what I need to do though, as going by that...
The issue is that I know Stu's rears rub slightly, so even though mine isn't lowered as much, I'm not sure whether it will cause me problems.
His fronts supposedly rub too when cornering hard, but that's not a concern of mine as I don't rag my car about too hard.
This is my thinking, as it ties in with my other stickers...
Same length as my CS sticker, but small lettering and says either "Sunflower - 1 of 31" or "Sunflower Yellow - 1 of 31" depending on what suits the length best, if that makes sense.
I'm wanting to put it just below my CS one. You...
Cheers guys.
So what's the difference in offset between the F1s and Cup Turinis? Do the Turini alloys stick right out already?
Need to make sure I get this right before I order lol.
Should I go for 20mm all round or does the front need to be slightly higher to keep all the wheels looking in...
Ok, so i've got a couple questions with regards to running spacers on the Sunflower.
I'm wanting to fill out the arches. Pretty much the last thing, aesthetically, that I want to do.
My concern is which size to go for. I'll be ordering them from Dan@M.A.D. on here.
I'm currently running the...
I don't know much about credit scores etc, but I imagine that mine would be decent?! Never late on phone bills etc, 2x cars on finance which we're both paid off without a hitch, never been refused anything like finance etc, my accounts have never been in overdraft.
Does it make a difference if...
Just a thought, as we seem to be at a standstill, do people just want to have a sticker made up anyway, but a generic sunflower one along the lines of " Sunflower - 1 of 31". Otherwise, we may be waiting for the rest of our lives lol.
If so, I can get in touch with Ady for prices to have one...
Ended up getting one from ECP. Cost £9 altogether, after 30% discount and cashback. ;)
It'll do for now...
What are the Citroen washer jets that are meant to be much better?
Yeah, Innocent Smoothies ;) .
And it would be one epic meet. Something will have to be sorted next year.
You got away with paying less then, as Ph1 172's are £220 for a year and Ph2's are £250.
(Unless you have a dodgy motor and is down as a 1.2 or something on your documents)
