Just dropped on the AF 3for2 offer and ordered:
AF Soul wax
AF 500ml Tough Coat
AF Avalanche (couldn't decide on what else to have, so just whacked that in as it was pretty much the same price as the Tough Coat anyway and you can never have enough Snow Foam - Still made me feel good getting £29...
Minus the Ph2 interior, it sounds perfect.
I may be interested in your wheels. Message me some details ;). Have you got other wheels lined up?
(wouldn't be fussed about tyres)
I have no idea. All I did to work it out was got a measuring tape out to see how much id need to fill out the arches, then searched for photos on here for people that had spaced out their Ph1s.
(I personally think 25mm might be too much for mine on the front, but it seems difficult to get...
I'm going 20/25mm on the front and 10mm on the rear. I think those sizes fill out the arches perfectly (on ph1s though).
Personally think 15mm is too much on the rears (saw your other post).
Cheers guys. My insurance is up in a couple weeks, so once I've sorted that, I'm going to get going on some plans, make a list of parts and get booked in to Diamond Motors. Lol
Just go genuine Renault then?
Are the wishbones expensive? I'd expect them to be quite an expense.
Iirc, I changed the ball joints last year, but I'll have to check my receipts.
Ok, so one thing that I'm wanting to improve on the sunflower is it's steering. As with most 13 year old cars, its probably had better days in that department.
What do I need to sort to improve this?
(The car is used for day to day driving and the odd blast. Can't see it ever going on track...
When I first tested a 200 at my local dealer, I rocked up in my 172 Flamer. I was 20 at the time. Told them that I couldn't decide between the 200 and a V6. LOL. Because genuine baller.
I already have some Vics collectors wax. Used it once. Didn't like it. Ought to try it again Tbf.
Im swaying towards the AF stuff, purely because I know their level of quality, just wondering whether the Soul was worth it.
AF Soul. Is it any good?
Looking to try a new wax and seeing as PB have 3 for 2 on the AF stuff, it'd be rude not to make an order. The Soul would be my limit on what I'd want to spend on a wax tbh at the moment. Any reviews of it? Good for the Sunflower?
It's about time I tried something...
