Everytime i do it though, i put in my forum login, will16v, then password, and just comes up with this message:

No worries - found it to be in the wiring loom that comes from behind the bulkhead and the heat sheild - its splits 3 ways, one to the engine/starter, one to the lights, and one to something else....its at the junction of wires that splits into a Y shape that ive located the prob after looking...
I got some from http://www.powerbulbs.co.ukwww.powerbulbs.co.uk can see where im going at nite now for a change! - got some free blue vision side bulbs too...not bad for £20..

Got in my 16v the other day, turned the ignition key, all dash lights came on, but no starter?!?!?...tried again and the same...
got out and bumped it off and was fine then...

I never thought of doing it that way either.....anyway, dosent seem 2 hard, i thought you just drained it all out when cold then blast a load of cold water through the system with a hose pipe till its clear....:confused:
Gonna attempt to flush out the old coolant in my car tommorrow, and replace with some nice new renault stuff. Ive looked in the haynes manual, and seems quite easy, but has anyone done this b4 on their 16v?
Anything to be careful of, or might need replacing at the same time?

Mines been doing it loads latley, since its been really cold and damp in the mornings, but sounds more like one of the pulleys - sprayed a quater of a can of WD 40 on it in the last two weeks, and it stops, for about a minute, then got worse!
Scared to do it anymore cos i can see the belt...

They steal because they need smack, its probably all theyve ever known,and they always seem to wear stripy rockport/henri lloyd/lacoste jumpers, tracky bottoms and rockport/lacoste shoes...
Well got insured yesterday through liverpoolvictoria.co.uk (thankx BRUN) - they are well cheap - £917 fully comp and a years no claims on a 16v....
just gotta do the producer when the ins. certificate comes through and c what appens.....thankx for all your responses tho...stopped me worrying...
I once had a clio 1.2 rl that some bird hit me in the rear passenger side panel, then drove off...
i was insured fully comp on that and the insurance paid out for a new panel, fitting and spraying - im sure it was more than a grand, but the panel on the standadrd clio goes from the rear light...
Just rung Tescos about some insurance and they say the points only stay on for 3 years, but they ask for any within the last 5.....so think ur right...
Ok then, fingers crossed....thanks for your advice, fell a bit better about it now.. suppose if i get 8 points, thatll total 11, if i go to court....sheeete....unless i get Judge Ballbreaker....
