Well the bulb for the side/main bean has given up after 90K....
Does anyone know how hard they are to change on the 16V? - never attempted b4..
Also, the bulbs i have in the h/lights dont seem bright enough, where can i get some road legal super bright bulbs!?!

Mine idles at relly low revs if i dont let it warm up properly in a morning....goes dwn to about 400/500rpm, them slowly works its way back up to 900rpm on idle....ok after warm tho..
Just washed my car this morning, and noticed some of the paint around the rear arch is bubbling.
I squeazed them with my finger and all this black water came out, so it looks like the arch is just starting to rust....whats the best way to get rid of this before it gets serious?

K&N is loud enough 4 me....roars up to 5000rpm, then u can really hear the air been sucked like an effin turbo...! ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHH!
I see, so if im to keep the car with the existing engine for a bit and want to maintain the optimum value, apart from looking after it (changing oil regulaly, not thrashing it when cold etc), what would i need to look at replacing in the engine? Gaskets? hydraulic tappets?
Or does it depend...
If i kept the car tho, how much would it cost to re-con the engine? or 2litre it?
Surley there are more clios with this type of milage on them?
If the car has done 90k, and i replace the engine, with a williams, and the milage is only say 50k on the engine, what happens then?

I have been chatting to a couple of guys at work this morning, and were on about cars n stuff....i mentioned my car and said 0-60 was about 7 secs...one of these so called know it alls reckons no way, and is more like 9.6 secs!
Then another guy said that was rubbish - more like 8 secs! im like...

I get that - just rest your foot slighty on the accelerator....dont know bout flames though cos, well, cant see!

I got just over 131 a few weeks ago, but was too scared to take it any further....waiting for something to explode, besides, the scenery was going past a bit too quick in the hard shoulder!
