as said, other than the missing spltter, a very nice car!
is there anything wrong with the paintjob that warrants a re-spray?? or just preference in colour??
i think it needs some lows tbh!
errr, i think i did it in my mk2 ph1,
they in my mk1 now, im guessing youve tried and the bolts dont fit??
i guess if you have to you could just use the original bolt that goes into that hole and put it through the clip??
it will knacker the moving part of the clip though!
i found my eyelets the correct size for the b pillar mount!
and on the other side i opened up the hole that original seat bolts to and put a nut underneight the car!!
Completely original,
not trashed by a box racer
Massive exhaust bodged on.
And there is no excuse for no paperwork, if someone serviced a car themselves (and are not a complete tool), they keep all the reciepts as proof that its been done,
no reciepts...no proof

this has started again :(
has been starting fine on the button for 2 months, and it started doing it again,
no warning, just went to get in my car expecting it to work and.......nothing.
however, ive discovered if you repeatedly turn the key back and forth trying to run the starter motor...
the two cars can be compared, but you will never be able to say one is better. Because the people that say the 200 trumps it in everything are wrong!!
its like comparing having a stripped out car, vs standard interior!
IMO, over the years hot hatches have got safer, fatter and less exciting...
if you're refering to my thread, i spent quite a bit less,
and ended up with brand new discs, higher spec brake, and a freshly blead system!
but yes, whipping just the hubs off a 1.4 16v should be enough.
But make sure you measure, im certain ive read on here about 16v non-sports having 52mm...
normally ^^ this makes the headunit turn off with the ignition, but turn on asif its just been plugged in when the ignition is turned on (looses all settings)
as said, it sounds like somewhere the lives have been jointed to one!
time to get a multi-meter out to find what the red and yellow...
no real mention of overall condition at all,
any dents/scratches??
(if non, id state that there are none!!)
condition of the interior, (wheel looks abit shabby)
Has anyone else been convinced to buy these purely based on his fantastic advert and sales pitch??

in conclusion vicky has some odd fetishes that you will become a victim of in you're not careful! There we go vick, now at least there's no confusion :D
Hmm a good point about being too dark,
When I'm next on my computer ill put some photshops up someone so kindly did me!
so if I didn't want to go as standard as silver,
And white was out of the question,
Then what would you suggest?? Lol
Just as I've almost made my mind up about everything, people throw options at me and make me think :(
Wheels are already silverish bt were flaking to shite so I wanted to furb them a new colour that looked abit more track orientated!
Where would I even begin to look for paint with a nice...
I too was tempted, but a friend of mine has a very similar blue mk1 on white wheels,
So in the interests of keeping things different, I'm going for black! And the cage is going black to match the wheels!
I might give her a clean over the next few days and post a few more pics up!
Oh and...
best bet is to look out for some adjustable coilover rear springs!
there are very few off the shelf springs lower than 60mm,
there are some custom 90mm rear lowering springs but that'll be far to low for 60mm fronts!
all you need is the spring/coilover
if you're just doing the springs, then it doesnt matter what the bolt spacing is!
but if theyre 58mm then you can get coilovers on the cheap!
if youre going for look,
lower it to the damn floor ;)
rokkor only do coilovers for 58mm bolt spacing.
USUALLY its only the 8v that have 52mm bolt spacing,
BUT knowing renault, they often mismatch them so best to just measure.
you can always just get a set of 58mm hubs, £20 each from a breakers!
