thanks for the advice :) i found it, it has aurbag in a small oval on the side of the chair ... so does this meen that the standard ones will come straight out and the sport ones straight in onto the same frame>?
that probably came out wrong on my behalf sorry, what i ment was i really dont know, and i wouldnt know where or how to look if it does have airbags, im new to all of this sorry
as per title... i was wondering if any problems would occur as i know when you put in bucket seats you have to get resistors however i don't know if this is the same for sport seats? and also do the sport seats just go straight into the sub frame from standard seats or would i have to buy a...
my parents bought for the sole reason to learn to drive and expected me to get a new one once id passed and confident so that once again isnt really an issue :/ but you make i good point i reckon i am going to stick with this to be quite honest
well by buying a already modded car, i meant i would probably get it off here/ from someone i know rather than some random on ebay/pistonheads so i have a general idea of how much time/effort was spent on it, and the insurance, a 16v wouldnt barely change it at all to be honest...
I was 17 not too long ago, and i got an 8v authentique as a gift from my parents, as basically a car to learn in. I am now stuck with these 2 choices and have no idea what to do
1 - Keep the authentique until i am a few years older so the insurance on something better (sport) isnt crippling and...
from reading this, not 100% sure if my question was answered if a sports wheel will fit the 1.2 and will the air bag work? sorry if it has and i misread?
Yeah i know about adding the resistor i just wanted to check that i wasn't going to fail an mot with it, as for the 172/182 steering being fitted? And if you can fit a 172/182 steering wheel, could you use the air bag or would it just become redundant like having a none oem?
I've never changed a steering wheel before, firstly if i fit a one that isn't oem that doesn't have airbags, is there any problems with mots? secondly will the 172/182 wheel fit a 1.2?
thanks
well thats just it, i don't want a colour that i ridiculously in your face, just something that will be nice and original its a toss up between them 3 though defiantly, im hoping to pick tonight so i can start getting the paint tomorrow
im liking them both equally thats why i wanted some more opinions :L i think im leaning more to red as its easier to get a close colour match to that, if i get a lsightly different shade of purple it could end up looking girly and gay :L
I recently bought new alloys and they were in need of a refurb so i am in the process of doing so, i am wanting to change the colour and have had a couple of fail attempts at photo shopping so possibilities and wanted your thoughts and even your ideas/pictures or different colours :)...
tbh if it is that cheap to repair then it is probably best to not go through insurance company anyway... im guessing your young as your at college to that would send your premium up next year anyways :)
from what i got from reading this is that he has gone into the back of you... making it his fault surly? i just want to clear this up
dam you revels...
I was in my mate car the other day and when he turned his radio i realised i needed a sub. What should i get basically, i dont really know much about them so can someone just point me in the right direction i mean a quick ebay search came up with a sub and amp combined for £70 so im assuming...
