What sub to get?

I was in my mate car the other day and when he turned his radio i realised i needed a sub. What should i get basically, i dont really know much about them so can someone just point me in the right direction i mean a quick ebay search came up with a sub and amp combined for £70 so im assuming this is going to be some cheap crap that wont offer too good quality? any help would be much appreciated thanks.

A small 10inch rockford fosgate punch sub and amp is what I have, sounds brilliant and not too intrusive

just over £200 in total but that was a couple of years ago.

hmmm and is it just as simple as plugging the 2 cables in the back of the radio and the into the sub?

The RCA lead from the stereo is just the signal, you need a heavy guauge power cable from the battery, a good ground, and a remote wire so the amp isn't on constantly.
