vicky, what is the AWT figure??
1. 182Matt
2. brisa4984
3. adam172
4. Clio142
ive seen this car quite a few times, down southend seafront more than everywhere else!
annoyed i didnt see anyone last night?! :@ i kept my eyes open,
but it was pretty dead everywhere! grr
the mistake you made was calling it "euro"
its not nearly euro enough for you to call it euro,
just looks to me like small wheels and a bra!
deck it on airbags, or coilovers if youre brave enough, and enjoy driving very slow everywhere,
and get smoothing on it,
perhaps get some OEM+ mods...
so you unplug the remote wire, and does the amp stay on??
lights and that??
if so youve made a wiring faux pas.
or you could just get a new battery!
(providing it charges at 14.4v when the car is running)
it will start saving you money around the 30k miles point,
if my caluclations are correct, which theyre probs not!
which to me is 7.5 years,
not really worth it in my case, but i can how its appealing,
btw, that is assuming the above prices,
and that both cars can achieve 43mpg,
its a...
this would majourly put me off going for this,
based on that map it would be a complete ball ache to do,
id have to plan my trips around filling up my car as its a 45minute round trip through roads that are a nightmare at peak times,
and to a petrol station thats only open till 8
how much...
as said, needs a grill to finnish it off, i dont get why so many people remove them!!
i adore the colour!
and it works even better with those wheel in that colour!!
amazing looking car!
ive never spoken to the kid,
he lives near me, and always parks this thing at the top of my road!!
ive also just thought,
what happens if he needs to change a bulb/shock?
i can imagine thats the kind of engineering that wont come apart easly!
sorry its taken so long guys,
its not been at the top of my road for a while,
but it was a few days back and i got some snaps
note the pickup style floodlights on the top,
not sure why the bonnet isnt shut either,
but at least hes made an attempt are removing that front exhaust cutout...
pop/bang could have been coincidental?!
distribution block might have gone? (or have you checked sparks??)
how do you know the cambelt is intact??
could have lost a tensioner and caused the engine to fall out of line,
but that would make it crank slightly faster
if youve got the money to burn,
spend it on a good pair of seats,
and harnesses,
possibly roll cage
you'll be able to keep them when you get the conversion!
if the weather is not too bad ill be down there,
i dont normally get down there until around 9-10 as my friends are loooooong!
any CSers feel free to give me a honk if you see a Mk1 clio with OMG on the plate lol
ill most probs be down lakeside sat providing on the weather being alright,
look out for a blue mk1 clio with OMG on the numberplate lol
give me a honk if you see me! ill look out for you (PVA on the plate?)
previous owner owned the car for 2 months, and didnt really touch it as far as im aware,
its gone through a few owners in the past years, i have no idea who the number are too,
the service history on an official notice was lost years ago as it seems most of the owners have taken it under...
well the engine has been out within the past two years,
so once again, id like to think someone with half a brain did it then!
but i really need to start ringing some on the numbers on the reciepts and find out when/if it was done dont i lol
it doesnt smell too bad in the car, but might change the pollen filter anyways lol,
got my mates mechanic to weld them in, then i had to grind out the insides,
and then since its hard to measure the position of the sleaves i had to grind the sleeves down.
might be easier to just pay someone...
