Re: What have you ordered?
I am almost 100% certain these are the guys that did dad's R8 rear sill plastic paint protection strips, note the location;

About 15min from me! Going to visit them asap. (When I say asap, when my car doesn't look like an Audi mechanic owns it...
AutoSmart BioBrisk, a decent hand brush and aggitate, then wipe with a MF or use a wet/dry vac if you have one.
The AG interior foaming cleaner may well kill you, it fumes that badly. Nasty stuff.
Not keen, but you know that. I don't understand the oil cooler thing - if my Clio failed an MOT on having a crack in the bumper (apparently it was sharp so could cause damage to a pedestrian...) surely the oil lines will fail the Scooby?
An M6 is a two day job for correction fella. You could maybe get away with one day for enhancement.
So the prices you've quoted are about right. I couldn't do Surrey as I don't have any time these days anyway, as much as an M6 would be nice to do!
But for two days you'd be looking at £300...
Megs are oily, I didn't particularly like them. The glaze was OK however (think they came as a package with my 7424 when I first imported it 7 years ago :S).
Half a bottle of 203s should be fine if you are using a rotary. If you are using a DA, you might need two hits on VAG paint. Toyota paint...
Sorry, you said the T word.
Machine polishing will be the main solution. However, if you don't have access to, or have a friend with, hand polishing using a light cut hand pad and 203s from Menzerna might help you. Failing that the GTechniq P1 and polish pad could be a solution.
