Checked under rear seats, and below 1/4 casings for a leak? If your car is getting fresh air, but still steaming up, then there must be water somewhere mate.
Look under the steering column to the right of the pedals, right at the back.
Make sure fans are off. Your see a flap that moves and behind it your see a fan. You want the flap pushed all the way up.
You dont have to remove the scuttle to get to it.
Just look under the steerimg column to the right of the pedals. Mine was doing the same so just opened and used a bit of tape to stop it closing again. Now it hardly steams up at all.
205/50 has a side wall size of 102.5mm.
205/55 has a side wall size of 112.75mm.
I wouldnt go for something with that much difference.
Stick with 205/50. Imo. 112.75 is a huge sidewall.
Im the seventh owner or 8th. Lol. I got it.off steve murr (rsport) and it had no dents, scratches, wheels mint, interior mint. No way was i going to let someone else buy it lol.

172 non cup is 23 outer 25 inner
172 cup is 22 outer 23 inner
There is a thread somewhere with all the correct sizes. But i only noted those ones down.
Id let someone else comment to be 100% sure though as that thread could of been wrong. Id of first thought the cup...
Service light is on because of the airbag light. Try swapping the red and black to stop the horn.
I have a sabelt wheel, fitted before i purchased it, i think the light was just turned off by previous owner. Somehow. But you can also use resistors. Not really clued up on airbag subjects.
Ive just got ktecs on mine. If i was to track mine id change them. But its a daily. I prefere turini's, dont look as busy as the 1.2s with all the spokes. Plus id dred cleaning them. Mine are boring enough to clean lol.
