At least you haven't handed over any hard earned yet. You should just say to the guy that you will get it repaired and minus the repair bill (or at least a percentage of it) off the final price of the car.
My brother had those wheels in gold on his clio williams. He bought a big brake conversion for the front and the standard wheels wouldnt fit over them.
The williams looked epic on them with the big brakes behind them.

They lure you in with a half price mot then charge double for any work they do to get it through. Some people wouldnt have questioned it and just payed up for the work. Robbing c***'s!

It looks like the cars stood up to the impact pretty well though which is reassuring.

Quick update
Swapped out my old set of tired rear dampers for a new set. The set that came off were in awful condition. Its no wonder the back end would occasionally step out when navigating a bend.
feels much better now and was only a half hour job
next up is to get some decent rubber...
Nice looking car, but how has the corsa springs affected the handling?
I would have thought the spring rates etc would be wrong for the renault dampers?
Changed the rear dampers today for a set i got off grazo22 thanks mate
The drivers side one was in good condition but was a NON CUP one. The passanger side one was the right one but was covered in oil and was in a bad way.
So hopefully the car should handle a bit better now that it has a...

My car failed its emissions part of the mot the other day. More specifically:
* exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive
* exhaust emissions hydrocarbon content after 2nd fast idle excessive
* exhaust emissions lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside...
Im after 2 rear dampers for my clio 182 with cup pack suspension. Im considering doing all 4 depending on cost and how hard they are to do etc...
Does anyone know the best place to buy them? Id prefer to buy them off a forum trader if possible and they must be genuine.
Any help appreciated...
