Did it again tonight.
It only ever does it when its 0 degrees or colder outside. Coincidence? Im not sure.
yes car has full service history stamped up. Next service is due september 2014 or 88k miles. Car currently on 82k.
any ideas?
Do you think id be better off switching the new toyo's that are on the front to the back, then putting a better set on the front such as michelins or pirrellis.
Or do i go for a full matching set of toyo's?
Whats your opinion?
Personally, i rate the toyo's. I had them on my impreza and my mitsubishi 3000gt (both of which had close to double the power of the clio) and never had a problem with them. They perform exellent for fast road. They are more than adequate for what i am going to be using the car for.
Thanks mate.
yeah, i think the 182's are pretty well sorted from factory. Only real plans for mine are lowered (cooksports most likely) and spacers as you say, bonnet respray as theres a few stone chips and looking into getting the 3m restoration for the headlights as there slightly cloudy...
Love that racing puma!
Your 172 looks a real nice example too, good work on the detailing. Looks like you have got yourself a nice car there. Especially with that mileage.
Re: de badging. advise or guide needed!
Yes the 'clio' badge has pins so will leave 2 little holes. The renault sport badge can be easily removed though.
Good evening.
does anyone know how to manual tune the stock headunit on a clio 182. As title, its the cabbasse auditorium unit.
i have just purchased an fm transmitter cradle for my phone and you need a frequency that has no station in order to avoid interference.
Problem is, i have...
thanks for the help.
do you think i would be better off buying the parrot or buying an aftermarket headunit with aux in and/or bluetooth?
idealy i wanted to keep it looking oem, but i suppose if i got a decent headunit and wired it in so my steering controls still worked it wouldnt be too...
And no, not the bird type.
i was on here asking the other day how i could connect my phone (samsung s4) to my standard clio 182 headunit.
anyway, today while cleaning my car out i removed the cointray and cupholders, and this parrot blue box was under there fully connected...
What is the best way to play the music from my phone (samsung galaxy s4) through my standard headunit in my clio 182?
I know you can get devices that connect via radio signals, but is there a better way...?
I'd prefer to keep the oem unit if possible.
Saw this rather nice clio v6 parked at work today.
closest i got to finding out who it belongs to was 'i think it might be one of the contract engineers'
it was a nice bit of kit. My pics dont do it much justice. Anyone on here?
Good evening,
Today after work i went to start the car as usual. Most of the time it fires streight up but every now and then it seems to start lazy. Ive had the car about 10 weeks and its done this maybe 3 times.
it feels almost as if the battery is flat. it lazily turns over for about 5...
Ive been running the car on shell v power since i got the car but before we went away i filled it with tesco momentum 99 because i was away and there were no shell garages nearby. I know its a long shot but is there any chance this could have caused it too come on? Ive heard a lot of people...
I parked my car up last friday and it was fine. No engine management light. Me and my wife then went on holiday for a week and when i get back and start the the car, the engine management has decided it would like to make an appearance:S. The car dosn't seem to be running any different and still...
He realy knows his stuff. I had mine mapped to a safe boost and it was more to iron out spikes after fitting the bigger turbo. It honestly felt like a new car afterwards. I also got a few pops and bangs in there for good measure as well as launch control, which i didnt use much but it was brutal...
