Re: CS Camping Trip 2014 (Details Updated)
Kinda sad that place has closed down, did. Good breakfast last year. They may be open under new management by the time we go
Going to do an oil change on the 182, getting mixed opinions on using an oil flush. Car is on 101k if that makes a difference.
Just want to know everyone else's opinions on it ?
Don't know if this is the right section.
Needed one of my alloys resprayed. I know it's the standard IXELL 205-110, I have heard it isn't the easiest colour to get. Anyone in the Swindon or Bristol and surrounding areas know where can so this for me.
Cheers
Apply a little copper grease to the shaft to stop the arm seizing on the splines and just tip it up tight. Don't need to hang off it or anything to tighten it lol
Most people I spoke to about them recommended Mintex 1144s. I have heard that they can squeal at times but I thought that's just a trade off of having 4 pots
I not 100% certain. But was just told that 406 Brembos with brackets and 300mm discs won't go under 15s. I don't know how valid tabu is. I want 16s anyways so wasn't really an issue
Yeah pretty sure it's the switch end that's the problem. I replaced the horn, connectors and wire brushed where the horn bolts to the body to make sure it had a good earth
Yeah I put a multimeter on the end of the horn cable and earthed to the body. Somebody pressed the horn and nothing. So must be a break in the line or on the squib
