MFs are so cheap these days, even for very good quality items like the Euro MFs, I tend to wash until they look slightly gone and then demote them to dirty jobs.
By the time I'd factored in the cost of washing solutions, water, leccy etc, it just wasn't worth it.
Pads is another matter however!
3M pwns all on the pads IMO. Althought I want to try the HydraTec ones badly.
I've just ordered the glass pads, Richy, and you have no idea how close I was to getting a s**t load more. Must save for... other s**t!!!
Interestingly I had this twice this week... but then thought I was being stupid as it worked a few minutes later... And it only happens in the gym when I've handled it after a workout!
Re: What have you ordered?
I've had the Prime for a while, but because the sills are red, thought I might as well use it on them and keep the gloss constant :)
Tell me about it, just spent 47 quid on stuff I won't use for another few months.
And I also mentioned how I shop in too many places as the "What can we do for you" answer...

it sounds like in rubbing away the marks you have actually punctured the paint. This coupled with some ITR in, under the paint, will probably be the cause of the bubbling :( So yes, a respray will be required as that rash will only grow as the elements and road grime/salt get into the open...
Yes. The two people chatting on the video linked above were posting absolute rubbish - clearly showing neither of them had any clue about detailing.
:approve:
Good news.
The better the paintwork is sealed, the easier you'll find it to blot as there won't be any surface water remaining. :)
It gives a thinner coat with decent waxes.
However, to be totally honest, the first time I applied by hand, I was using a pot of Blue Velvet and it just made my hands blue, meaning work the next day was not clever!
Personal choice for drying are these;

But the above are very good all the same - much better than a chamois/leather etc
And I/most detailers use Eurow...
Jay does have the ability to take centre locks off from memory, so it will be as Gal has said, it wasn't required by the owner or wasn't deemed necessary. Reaching behind the spokes on that sort of car is usually quite easy as they have large gaps to aid cooling of the brakes.
Zymol...
