Halfords Ezebleed kit is the best, only £5 :)
Supposedly you bleed furthest first as you flush most of the old fluid first go, means you are not pushing the old fluid through the system.
When I was in Tunisia, went in a 5 door Clio saloon that had 297k on the clock. The clock wasn't moving so god only knows how many miles it had actually done. Had every dash light on though lol
Easy job just don't do what I did and dropped my post CAT lambda and snap the cathode inside. Wasn't a massive issue as I have a decat so the EML was on anyways. Can pick up a second hand on pretty cheap though. Can be a bit of a tight angle, they tight on so I found best way was to put car on...
As it stands, I will be attending this with Mr Lawson if he ever gives me confirmation.
Can somebody add me to the list, as I on my phone it doesn't work that great.
Where about's is the loud bang coming from ? If it is central then could be a broken dogbone mount, meaning manifold is hitting the subframe.
Check for suspension issue. How exactly did you hit it? Central or to the one side ?
Doing about 80 in the sport round a corner, turned out to be sharper than expected. Turned the wheel harder but car was just going straight, locked up and just managed to stop before going Into a ditch....
Always used Shell, other day was low so had to go Tesco, filled it up with about £10 and car started misfiring and flashing EML light so I refilled will shell and haven't had the problem back
My 182 engine blew up on me within the first month of owning it, s**t happens. Doesn't Renault spec say using a litre of oil within 1000 miles is within tolerances ?
Just make sure you put it in gear and then take the handbrake off before you jack it up. Having your clio roll down your drive with the back end up on a jack isn't fun :)
On the left hand side of the engine on top just before the cam cover, it has a plug on it. I could be wrong about it being that. Somebody will be along in a bit who knows a lot more about these engines than me.
Cleaned the TB on my old 1.2. It's in a s**t place as it is under all the inlet and it all has to come off to get to it. I had to change the throttle position sensor so thought I would clean the TB whilst I was there.
KTec sports cat, 14" Team Dynamic alloy with tyre, 150 piece tool set, tool box, seat cover and a bottle of brake fluid. Wow I really need to empty my boot.
